Jack Tu (Sheng Chen TU)

Born in Taiwan into a martial arts family, Jack Tu is a five times world martial arts champion and winner of the "Heir of the Dragon" television talent competition, earning him the title of Jackie Chan's only disciple. Though raised in Canada and United States, he has always held a deep passion for traditional Chinese culture. A master of Chinese martial arts, he is also accomplished in traditional arts (music, chess, calligraphy, and painting), with particular expertise in watercolor and sketching. His works have been frequently exhibited and published, and his dragon-themed ceramic piece created for charity was collected by a museum for permanent display. 


As a child, Jack trained under Jet Li to master the nine-section whip and performed multiple times on Asia Television Limited (ATV). His striking appearance led to numerous commercial opportunities even abroad. After winning the "Heir of the Dragon" TV competition in the U.S., he returned to China to pursue his career. He starred as the lead in films such as "Tea Fight" (2008) and "The Fist of Rose" (2013), and in 2015, he joined the cast of "The Time Raider" (adapted from the wll known novel "The Time Raider"), portraying the character Pan Zi. Notably, he served as the film’s sole action director and independently designed the iconic "Black Gold Ancient Blade" wielded by the protagonist Zhang Qiling, showcasing his artistic talents.


In 2023, Jack Tu, together with his wife Ying Peng, founded Ying Wisdom, an initiative dedicated to improving people's health, with a particular focus on the well-being of the elderly. Alongside this endeavor, Jack Tu also established the non profit organization Taoist Foundation in America. As part of its mission, the foundation is building a retreat center in Yosemite, designed to promote holistic well-being and provide a sanctuary for individuals seeking peace and rejuvenation
